Job Summary | Project Architect

The Project Architect is a key member of our organization and will have a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Integrate. Partnership track is available.

The PA supports the Principal to ensure that all deliverables meet the requirements of the project as well as the client-service and design standards of Integrate. The PA takes an active role in the conceptual through construction administration phases of project development and documentation. Responsibilities include direct communication with the client, facilitation of communication across the project team, including consultants and jurisdictions, preparation of code reviews, creation of project documentation, permitting coordination, and construction administration. The PA self-directs their work, manages their time according to the project schedule, and possess a high level of communication and leadership skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce drawings in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Work in all phases of project development including design, production, and permitting
  • Lead the design and construction schedules, and direct staff and consultant teams to execute the work
  • Produce construction detail documentation, space plans, and schedules
  • Participate and support the Principal in client meetings and presentations
  • Facilitate communication with the client, consultants, and jurisdictions
  • Recognize and document conflicts as they arise and offer alternatives to resolve issues
  • Usher projects through permitting process efficiently while creating/maintaining positive relationships

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform this Role:

  •  Fluency in AutoCAD; Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite
  •  Professional degree in Architecture required; Architectural licensure preferred; LEED certification a plus
  •  Minimum 7 years of working or relevant experience required
  •  Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and the permit procurement process
  •  Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and systems
  •  Knowledge of architectural graphic standards
  •  Ability to produce high quality work that is complete and accurate, with great attention to detail
  •  Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication style, exceptional ability to collaborate

This is a full time position. Compensation is comprised of salary ($65k – $85k, commensurate with experience), quarterly profit-sharing, paid time off, CE reimbursement, and health insurance stipend. We offer a fun working environment that is fast-paced and busy, but also flexible and supportive.
